Pistol 102 - Defensive Shooting

Service Description

This foundational course on defensive shooting fundamentals will provide students with essential skill-building techniques. All shooting exercises will be conducted from the high ready position, utilizing approximately 250 rounds of ammunition. Participants will practice discharging their firearms using a variety of methods, including: - Sight shooting - Point shooting - Shooting with the strong hand only - Shooting with the support hand only - Kneeling position - Deviation - Lateral movement - Clearing malfunctions - Magazine reloading - Shooting from retention - Shooting from cover In addition to these techniques, the course will include strategies for responding to violent confrontations, relevant firearms laws, guidance on selecting a handgun for self-defense, and opportunities for ongoing skill development.
