The GA Firing Line 2 Gun Match is an action shooting sport dedicated to providing owners of modern sporting rifles an opportunity to compete and develop their shooting skills. This weekly event focuses on both speed and accuracy with a heavy emphasis on gun handling skills. We take pride in hosting a match that will challenge shooters while providing a fun environment where like minded people can get together to enjoy their passion for rifle shooting. It is also a great place to test your rifle setup!
Equipment Needed​

1. Semi-Automatic Rifle that uses detachable magazines

2. Semi-Automatic Pistol that uses detachable magazines
​
3. Three Magazines for each firearm
(minimum 10 round capacity)

4. Chamber Flag
​
5. Pistol Holster
​
6. Eye Protection
​
7. Ear Protection (muffs or plugs)

8. 100 rounds of non-steel core ammunition for each firearm
​
9. Magazine carriers
(strongly recommended, but not required)

10. Weapon Light
(strongly recommended, but not required)

What time should i arrive?
​
Match setup and new shooter briefing will start at promptly at 6:15PM on MONDAYS.

How much is the match?
​
The match fee is $15.
​
What if I'm NEW to GA Firing Line 2 gun Match?
If you are shooting a GFL 2 GUN match for the first time it is mandatory to arrive early to allow yourself time to sign in to the range before taking the new shooter briefing at 6PM.

Where do i keep my rifle during the match?
​
There will be a designated safe area for you to remove your rifle from your rifle bag and store your rifle. The designated safe area is where you will want to install your chamber flag if it isn’t already in the chamber, you will then make your way into the range to place your rifle on one of the rifle racks against the wall.
What is there to do while i wait for the match to begin?
Please feel free to help the match directors setup stages, it will help us get started on time which means we get to shoot more.

When does the match begin?
First shots will be fired at 6:30pm.
What are GFL 2 gun stages about?
The challenging nature of our stages will require competitors to have a strong basis of firearm safety while moving and navigating multiple positions throughout a course of fire with a focus on accuracy.
What skills should i be aware of during this match?
Competitors will need to have a strong understanding of how to manipulate their own rifle. If you aren’t comfortable using your rifle but would like to shoot with us, contact us at training@gafiringline.com so we can help you reach your goals.
how long does the match go for?
The match typically lasts about 2 hours after which we all break down the stages.
how will I receive my GFL 2 gun scores?
The score will be posted on the GFL PractiScore.
When is Low Light?
Once every three months. Please call to confirm which Monday, due to monthly date changes.
